Our Story

We met as Christian university students and later married in France, where Mélanie grew up as the daughter of missionary parents. In 1984, God led us to serve with Independent Faith Mission. After two years of visiting churches to seek prayer and financial support, we were commissioned by our local church to serve the Lord in French-speaking Québec, Canada—a ministry we carried out from 1986 to 2016.

During those 30 years, God graciously allowed us to witness the growth of two churches that were able to call their own French-Canadian pastors, whom we had the privilege of helping to train. While in Québec, we also raised our four children, who, along with their spouses, are now bringing up our twelve grandchildren to follow Christ.

In April 2016, the Lord led us to France, where we continue to serve with the same emphasis. We are currently ministering at Église Biblique Baptiste de Rouen, located in Petit-Quevilly, a suburb of Rouen in Normandy. Our deepest desire is to see mission churches firmly established under French leadership.
